While working at The Mississauga News

The Mississauga News wanted to update and expand from the original editorial blog postings to something more open to the community of readers. It was my job to apply all the fundamentals I have learned about the Drupal CMS system. I also had the opportunity and skill set to work on the website design. The challenge was to integrate the design with the core network design.

The site features the ability for any user to sign-up, and post their blogs. The blogs will be displayed in the users page section as well as the main index. Users are allowed to select one of the custom themes provided in the website for their blog page. There is an array of user group permissions set in place that handle the user selection output on the global side panel.

The overall work put into this project was long and demanding, but every staff member that uses the website is very pleased with the overall results.
