I created MinecraftTextures.com for two reasons. At the time there wasn't a good place to go to download textures packages for Minecraft (the game) besides trying to find postings on the official forums. I wanted a place where all texture artist's could post their texture packs and update the community on any changes; from the version numbers, change logs, new texture sizes, files, etc.

The other reason I made this site was to give something back to the community. So I decided to take on this challenge to provide a user friendly and clean website to meet these needs.
